Welp, I'm back from Manila~

First off, yeah; I was unable to get a replacement pen for my laptop. Went to a whole bunch of computer stores in two malls, and none of them had what I needed. Guess I'll have to order it online and wait - _-

Still, it wasn't a total waste. I got myself BBCS2 and Pokemon Conquest, the former being a game I've been DYING to get for my 3DS (Dropping combos and whiffing supers like a pro *shot*) and the latter being the marriage of my two favorite things: Strategy RPGs and Pokemon~

Also more importantly, we went to visit my great aunt (on mom's side) and she was very happy to see us (especially my mother, who she is rather fond of~) It's always fun to meet the relatives, too. I was even surprised to meet my second cousins, who I haven't seen in nearly half a decade. They were still little kids when we last met, and now they're so much older xD

So all in all, the trip ended on a chipper note, I guess~

not irl babies of course, but I just wanted to talk about something not-depressing~


I recently discovered that I somehow acquired a female, Dream World Gligar in my Entree Forest. I don't really recall ever getting her, but yay, a DW Pokemon with an actually decent ability! (fyi, DW Gligar gets Immunity as an ability, but when it evolves, the ability levels up to Poison Heal, which basically turns the Toxic Orb held item into Leftovers~) After a brief interlude in the Daycare, I hatched her first child, who not only inherited the ability, but has an awesome nature and decent IVs to boot!

Prior to this, I also managed to breed a Durant _{(Shush you Durant is a perfectly useable Pokemon)} with a perfect nature and perfect IVs (she took ages though, I was resetting for about a week xD) so yay for awesome fighting babies~


On the Neopets side, the Lab Ray finally came through for me xD Say Hi to Smith and his smexy new look. It's funny because he color changed on the first zap, and I was worried something awful would happen instead...like a species change </3 But yay for him~_{also Eri got zapped Christmas but I don't plan on keeping her like that so~}

EDIT: My mistake, Toxic Orb doesn't have stat boosts after all, they simply afflict the holder with the Badly Poisoned status. Life Orb on the other hand increases damage by 30% but does not afflict you with a status, it simply drains your HP every turn.

Haven't been arting much on the computer lately, and I won't be for a while. My tablet pen's gone missing; and there's a very good chance that in a moment of carelessness, I may have accidentally thrown it in the garbage. Tore the house apart looking for it, and that seems to be the case. Until I can get a replacement, it's pen and paper for me. Fortunately, I might be able to buy one when I head to Manila this Thursday.

Oh and btw, I'm heading to Manila this Thursday. Visiting a sick relative for the rest of the week and won't be back until Monday. This probably won't lessen my time online too much, but I thought you might want a heads-up~

As of this moment, Selvix is no more ; u; It was a fun 5 years, but I'm not really that into KH anymore to continue using that name. My Premium status is also almost up, so I figured I should take the opportunity while I still had it~

So, you're probably asking what Naorui means? Welll, put it simply, it's a portmanteau of the first three letters of the names of my two main OCs: Naomi and Ruin. Unlike Selvix, these two have been with me for a considerably longer time, and I feel like they're characters that are pretty much extensions of my personality.

And also because Rocket X and Satoren were taken D:< It's not a new nick either, since it's also my main account on Neopets xD

Still, people refer to me as RX anyway, so just keep on calling me that xD

I had the oddest dream a moment ago. I was playing Super Street Fighter IV in an arcade, but something was off. I could select three characters to make a team, with two acting as assists ala MvC3. So I picked Ryu, Cammy and Chun-Li.

I don't remember who I fought in Stage 1, but my Stage 2 opponent was...Son Goku? As you might imagine, I didn't stand a chance. He just kept spamming Super moves and dealing ridiculous amounts of damage. At this point, dream me dropped the proverbial gloves and got serious.

I opted to replay the stage again, but this time my team was made of Chuck Norris, Juggernaut....and Chun-Li. He didn't stand a chance.

The Stage 3 character was Bison...riding a coin-operated pony ride. He was eating noodles for some reason, too. The match wasn't even over before he somehow stood up, gave up the match, and just ran off the screen. All I could think about was eating cup noodles.

The rest of the game was a blur, except for the final boss. Who, for whatever reason was Galvatron. He had invcincible Super Armor, and the match was actually just me trying to get his HP down before the clock, or else he would self destruct and I would lose the game. I don't remember if I beat him or not, because for some odd reason, the only thing I could think about were the Cup Noodles Bison was eating.

After all the craziness I finally woke up, and had a splitting headache. Hmmm, guess that dream was too extreme for me.

I had a dream last night that I'd like to think of as awesome, featuring characters I've never seen before and music I've never heard before, but they were awesome! My first thought in the dream world was 'when I wake up, I need to draw these guys because they're so cool!'

But when I did wake up, I found that I couldn't remember a thing about my dream. How the characters looked, the music I heard, absolutely nothing about it came to mind! All I could remember was that it was awesome, but that unfortunately doesn't help xD

So yeah, have you ever had dreams you wish you could remember, but couldn't?

Anyways, for those of you complaining about how boring it is watching Ash get his butt kicked from region to region, rejoice! An anime short starring the Black/White 2 characters is rumoured to be released alongside the premiere of Best Wishes 2, the 'second season' of Ash's Unova saga. From these screens alone, you can tell it's going to be pretty badass.

What of Ash? apparently he's taking a major detour from the Pokemon league this June. Together with Cynthia(!) and a Meloetta(!!) he is travelling to the Eastern side of Unova, where all the old Pokemon from Generations 1 through 4 are said to thrive. Team Rocket is hot on his tail as usual, but this time, Giovanni comes into play, in what is apparently a major evil plot for the villainous organization.
