Artwork for a Manga?

The scanner I used totally ruined this picture. Be that as it may, it still looks fairly awesome.

As 's "Master Exegete" I figure I have at least some property to the Exegetes franchise. (Although being co-creator should be enough, most of the brilliant ideas stem from him.)

But anyways, if we were ever going to go and make a manga, I'd love to do the cover and Chapter heading artwork, hence a little sample here.

I won't say just who this person is, my "apprentice" knows well enough, and I'll leave it to him to actually identify her in public. *wink wink* Random nine-tailed Fox is random, although I personally associate this character with said creature (every Exegete character has an animal associated to them). Ninja scrolls to denote her profession, and a tiger like statue, though it was supposed to be a Tanuki, for her to sit on. (I didn't really work out a particular pose at the time, just randomly doodling. On the note that its a tiger, it sort of makes sense thankfully that she would be sitting on one, as her certain soulmate happens to be represented by said animal.)

Points for whoever can guess which Mangaka's style gave inspiration to this piece. Clue: "Puuu!~"
